Lenten Quiet Day – Called to Serve

Many on the spiritual path have dedicated an entire week a year to contemplative silence. Letting go of speech can free one’s spirit for communication of a subtler order. Over the course of the week, each retreatant receives individual, confidential spiritual direction from a trained director once a day. During these conversation, retreatants explore their relationship with the sacred in the atttentive, encouraging company of a skilled listener. The rest of the day can be given to prayer, meditation, rest, reading, walking, artistic expression, or any other nourishing activity which can be enjoyed in silence. Morning and Evening Prayer, plus daily Eucharist with the Sisters are open to all retreatants.
