This in-person retreat is designed to equip us for the journey. Self-reflection is often considered a solitary activity\, but doing things alone will fail us when we get stuck. The facilitator of this retreat will share knowledge and provide an opportunity to explore grief using a resource called Shared Self-Reflection: A Pathway to Wholeness. This resource is a structured process of facilitated self-reflection that will help attendees see how things have become overwhelming\, and how to work with what is getting in the way of finding closure after losing someone or something or profound importance. The cost of the Shared Self-Reflection Resource and its associated Explorer’s Workbook is included in the retreat fee\, as they are meant to be taken home for continued use after the retreat. \nRetreat format: In person \nDate: Friday\, April 24 – Sunday\, April 26\, 2026 \nRegistration Fee: Total is $260.00 with a deposit of $60.00 \nRegistration Deadline: April 17\, 2026 \nLed by: Dr. Wanda Malcolm\, who has worked for many years as a clinical psychologist and now retired professor of pastoral psychology (Wycliffe College\, Toronto School of Theology at the University of Toronto). She’s committed to journeying with people when they are suffering\, and believes that God is deeply good even when we can’t explain our most painful experiences.
